Barry Jeffrey (CPA BComm) - Director
Barry Jeffrey has over 40 years' experience as principal in the field of accountancy, taxation and small and medium business advising.
Barry's qualifications Include:-
- Bachelor of Commerce (University of Queensland)
- Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)
- Registered Tax Agent
Barry has extensive experience in providing advice and services in all areas of small to medium businesses. A significant feature of his practice is the long term business relationships he has formed with his clientele.
Maree Siliato (CPA BComm) - Director
Maree Siliato has had over 19 years experience in the Taxation Field and has been with BRJ Accountants since 2000. Maree became a financial partner in BRJ Accountants and Business Advisors in September 2015.
Maree's qualifications Include:-
- Certified Practising Accountant (CPA)
- Bachelor Commerce Accounting Major (University of Southern Queensland)
- Accreditation in Aged Care - Specialist
- Registered Tax Agent
- Authorised Representative for Financial Planning
Maree specialises in providing Accounting and Tax Services to tax payers, including employees, investors, retirees and small business clients operating as sole traders, companies, trusts and partnership. Maree also specialises in the compliance and advisory services for Self Manged Superfund and Aged Care.
Casey Woodhead - Practice Manager
Casey joined our team in 2003, giving her over 17 years’ experience working in the accounting industry. She has had various roles in the firm and her current role is predominately assisting in the completion of Business Activity Statements and support services to our clients.
She assists clients with the setup of their businesses on Xero and MYOB software, including training on how to use the software, as well as answering any questions that arise.
Casey has a keen interest in the accounting industry and is continually increasing her knowledge as well as keeping up to date with ATO compliance changes. She has a great rapport with clients and is always more than happy to help or source information required for clients.
Casey has completed a Certificate IV in Financial Services and is Certified in Xero.
Laura Wagner - Administrative Support Officer & Receptionist
Laura commenced her role with BRJ as Administrative Support Officer & Receptionist in July 2017 after working in a similar role since she was 17.
She enjoys being able to provide support to clients and the team at BRJ in any way possible to ensure clients are met with a prompt and high level of service.
Laura is very passionate about personal and professional development and is constantly striving to increase and develop skills to assist clients further.
She is currently studying a Bachelor of Accounting.
